Super Seed Bliss Balls

Makes 25 Bliss Balls

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups of ground flaxseed (or you could use a nut/seed blend like LSA or LSC)

1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup sesame seeds

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/4 cup desicated coconut

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 cup coconut butter, softened

1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1/4 cup brown rice syrup (maple or honey will also work)

50g 85% dark chocolate, chopped into small chunks


Toppings:

Dark chocolate, melted and drizzled


Method

To begin add all the dry ingredients to a large bowl and mix well. You can choose to grind down the seeds if you don't like big chunks, or if you are making them for a young toddler (this is what I did).

Next add the coconut butter, oil, and syrup to the bowl and mix everything until it comes together into one big ball (might be a little bitty).

Roll the mixture into balls of your desired size, I found wetting my hands slightly helped the mixture to stick and form into balls.

Put them into the fridge for 30 minutes to set, and once they have set you can drizzle over the dark chocolate. Refrigerate them again until the chocolate is solid. Store them in the fridge or freezer in an air-tight container.
